Relationship Development Intervention® (RDI®) Program is
a parent-based treatment program that helps parents learn to guide their child
to desire and succeed in genuine give-and-take relationships, while addressing
flexible thinking, rapid attention shifting, executive functioning and
emotional regulation.
The (RDI®) Program is based on the latest scientific research about autism,
the brain and developmental psychology.
Individuals with Autism, Asperger's, Pervasive Development Disorder or
Non-Verbal Learning Disorder have difficulties in certain core areas:
Overview consultations: This package consists of 2 sessions. The first session would be structured to allow a family to sit down with the consultant to learn more about RDI® and have their questions answered. The second session would be for those families interested in RDI® to decide which package would be best for their family and to do required paperwork.
Trial Package- This package would be made available to those families who would first like to have the opportunity to research and learn more about RDI® via the RDI® OS, prior to contracting for a consultative support package. This package is for the educational portion only and does not include support services.
Support Packages-
The standard package, similar to the
trial package begins with a baseline video and education objectives.
Ongoing support typically includes 5 hours per month (2 consultations, 8 work
product feedbacks and planning time).
